Meezan Visa Student Debit Card, no yearly fee
No yearly card fee. Meezan says it works in shops and online, but since August 2026 several students report it only works at ATMs.

What you'll need
Be 18 to 24 and open a Meezan Asaan Student Account. Ask the branch which documents to bring, usually your CNIC and student card.
How to apply
- 1Open a Meezan Asaan Student Account at a branch or in the Meezan account-opening app.
- 2Ask for the Visa Student Debit Card. It's free for this account.
- 3Activate it in the Meezan app under Card Management.
Good to know
Since August 2026 at least four students have reported that the card is declined in shops and online ("Bank not supported", or no OTP arrives) while ATMs work. If you need a card for Gemini or Spotify, have SadaPay or NayaPay ready as well. Payments in dollars carry 5% advance tax for filers and 10% for non-filers, like any Pakistani card.Sources
